One integrated WASH framework

WaSHVoice is an advocacy and ecosystem-building organization that projects the voices of all people, especially vulnerable, off-grid and urban low-income residents, to secure universal access to safely managed water, sanitation and hygiene. Dignified urban living needs all of it: clean water, sanitation, robust hygiene practices, and intentional gender and social inclusion.

The sanitation gap WaSHVoice closes

Sanitation progress stalls where academic research, public policy, technological innovation and private markets fail to connect. WaSHVoice works at those joins.

Fragmented actors

Utilities, civil society, private operators and development partners need to align on inclusive, accountable policy.

Innovation short of the market

Validated non-sewered technologies need a route to operational, finance-ready deployment in cities.

Evidence short of decisions

Academic and innovation frameworks must become practical tools, policy frameworks and advocacy that sector leaders can use.

The goal: dignified, safely managed and equitable sanitation for every urban resident, whatever their socio-economic standing or sewerage connectivity.
